Lacaune Shearling
Lacaune sheep are from southern France, specifically the Tarn and Aveyron Departments and surrounding areas. The breed gets its name from the town of Lacaune, located in the Tarn department. Lacaune shearling is considered a high-quality, premium option, particularly noted for its light weight and softness, often described as having a "cashmere touch"
Lacaune Shearling Characteristics
- Weight: Lacon is notably thin and light, making it ideal for garments that offer freedom of movement and a refined, less bulky silhouette.
- Feel: It features incredibly soft, short, fine wool and has a "cashmere touch," often used in high-end, sophisticated pieces.
- Versatility: Its lightness and softness make it suitable for transitional jackets that can be worn across seasons or as reversible garments, often featuring a smooth nappa leather finish on the reverse side.
- Origin: High-quality Lacon shearling often originates from the best tanneries in Spain.

We started presenting our collections at all National Trade Shows to the Specialty Stores and Boutiques.
Business is growing
After 8 years of showing collections, our products started being placed on the shelves and hangers of the most reputable Upscale Specialty Stores around the USA. We started grabbing the attention of big apparel brands with our integrity, hard work and the quality of the products. We had started receiving offers from these brands to make garments, footwear and accessories with their own labels. This is called "Private Label Manufacturing". We resisted for a while and then came Covid in 2020...
HELLO COVID
Everything changed. April of 2020, all our orders with the specialty stores and boutiques had been canceled. We had to make a decision and finally accepted to make garments and footwear for big brands with their private label to keep our business going.

We are in a new era and we made a big decision, although a little emotional, we have decided to reach the consumer directly. There was a long process leading to this decision but we just wanted all consumers to have an easier financial reach to the high quality and luxury products we have been making for the high-end specialty stores and big national/international brands. You may think "why wait 13 years" but believe us when we say "it has not been easy to reach this point financially and emotionally". Beginning of 2025, we rented our showroom and warehouse in Garner, NC. We acquired a bigger space in Istanbul, Turkey to put together a small atelier to make our own garments in small quantities. We now are able to offer all the high quality and luxury to the consumer at 50% to 80% off of the retail prices they had been paying for. We hope you will support us as a family owned and operated small business here in Garner, NC as we reached this decision solely for you.

Our materials on leather and shearling outerwear come from hides sourced as byproducts of the food industry. We collaborate exclusively with trusted tanneries based in Italy, France, and Spain.
The fabrics we choose for our garments are sourced in Europe from premium European fabrics.
